Living at William Temple House has been a fantastic experience – it has such a friendly atmosphere and a care for students that goes above and beyond.
It has been a privilege to live with such a diverse group of students for the past 2 years, and has provided me with lifelong friends. William Temple is a home away from home!

"For me, William Temple House was my home away from home. I got the opportunity to make friends across borders, to get to know different cultures, and to grow as a person through the support, warmth, and respect of the people at that house.
We have a saying in Lebanon: A house is made by its people, and indeed, WTH is a living example of that."

William Temple House is a great home for international students in London. I am so grateful that I found this house in my search for student accommodation. I formed great friendships, interacted with people from diverse backgrounds, ate good food and enjoyed wonderful events organised by the WTH Office.
The WTH Office make a great effort to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming space for all students in the house that allows a real community to be formed. Thank you to Rob, Tekla and Rode for your kindness during my stay at WTH.

Living at William Temple House was such a wonderful experience. You get to make friends from various different cultures and participate in themed nights when we tried out delicious cuisines from all around the world. Above all, the level of support provided at WTH to residents was the best part about living there- including the emotional support provided by our beloved cat Schweiny! I can’t imagine a more friendly, supportive and warm place to come back to at the end of a long day.

Staying in William temple house was undoubtedly a wonderful experience! One of my biggest concerns was being far from my family in a foreign country for the first time, but unexpectedly I felt very welcomed, like in my second home.
I met many friendly people from all over the world! also, I loved how the wardens were always attentive and caring, whenever they could, they would organise nice 'family-like' activities. I have very nice memories! For example, making breakfast together on a Saturday morning and talking about our studies, playing games, and cooking traditional dishes from our countries to later share with others.

"This place is a utopia. As a Venezuelan cellist studying at the Royal College of music In London, I could say that living at William Temple House gave me a full feel of what the whole world should be like: the coming together of all cultures and sharing all they could possibly give. Never before have I seen so many different nationalities within such a small number of people, and at the same time a community in which everyone's priority is to care for one another. It's truly beautiful. Cooking and eating at William Temple House were the higlights of my days. I adored hearing everyone's stories across the tables and across the stoves, and learning so much about others' traditions, languages, festivities, and how they cook! The warm spirits of the wardens combined with the students and Schweiny's kingdom, makes William Temple House an unforgettable place."

Living in William Temple House was one of my best experiences in London. It was a very multicultural and multidisciplinary community in which I made many friends that last far beyond my period in the house. There was always a friendly and positive environment that supported my wellbeing during my residency, and I learned a lot from interacting with other residents and wardens. The wardens were very considerate and passionate to make the house an even better place.

One of the best things about living at William Temple house was that I was able to meet so many different people from all corners of the world! I enjoyed learning about different cultures, and traditions, especially through the cultural nights we had (French night, Diwali night, Spanish night, and more). It was also interesting to meet students with different academic backgrounds- from musicians to researchers, every conversation was always something new and exciting!
William Temple House to me was a perfect ‘home away from home’. I made unforgettable memories and amazing friends throughout my years there. If you’re reading this and thinking of applying, just do it! It was one of the best decisions I’ve made :)

Having stayed at the house for most of my studies, all I can say is that it has been a wonderful experience. I’ve had to chance to meet people from a whole variety of backgrounds, many of whom I’m sure will remain lifelong friends. Ultimately, I am immensely grateful for my time spent here, not only because of the lovely wardens and residents but also because it has really shaped my character in a positive way.

Arriving in a foreign land as an international student may seem overwhelming. However, the residence is a comforting haven, where warm welcomes embraces you. As a designer, I often went to office with special and wierd needs which were consistently met with cheerful assistance. There are several lovely things to talk about the house but the best ones would be it's spaces like the kitchen, common room, study room, garden and the cherished memories forged with fellow residents throughout the year.
