What type of information do we collect?

Our website collects certain information regarding visitor engagement for analytics purposes, which is not personally identifiable e.g. how many visits and form responses we receive, and from where (globally and via which online sources) our vistors are coming from. This helps us to understand how you interact with our website and how people find us.

We also collect information that you submit to us, either via our contact form (name, email address and message, which allows us to respond) or personal information (contact information, medical information, details of their course etc.) via our application forms, which allow us to process applications. For succesful applications, we retain the information for the duration of the applicant's residency.

How do we store, use, share and disclose visitors' personal information?

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

We also store information for the purposes of allocating places and necessary information regarding emergency contacts and residents' course. Personal information of unsuccesful applicants will be deleted within 6 months' of the beginning of the academic year, in case spaces open up. Residents' application information will be deleted once their residency has been terminated, their keys returned and their deposit refunded.

 

We ask for contact information on departure (forwarding address for post and their email) which will be kept unless a request is made for us to delete it. Bank details for deposit refunds will be deleted once this has been repaid.
 

We do not pass on this information to any third party, unless required by law enforcement agencies.

How do we communicate with site visitors?

We may contact you via email regarding your application or any enquiries we receive from you. Occasionally we will contact applicants via phone if the enquiry is urgent - e.g. a last minute application.

Privacy policy updates

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
